Here's your chance to meet more Blues and put our hearts and minds together for positive change in our county and our country. Ways to get involved:
* Become a candidate. We need strong Democrats willing to step up and challenge Republicans in our County and District. Contact Chairman Abb Hayes, ash@homlaw.com if you have an interest. Qualifying starts April 28 and continues through May 2.
* Become a Neighborhood Leader NOW! We will soon be receiving training for this program sponsored by the DNC. We already have over a dozen Hall Co Democrats signed up and we need more of you to help us contact our neighbors and find our volunteer base for the upcoming election season. Go to http://democraticpartyofgeorgia.org/volunteer and sign up today. Training date: April 22 at 6:00 at the St. John's Church Annex on EE Butler.
* Attend Mayor Figueras' Citizens Involvement Advisory Roundtable Saturday, April 12, at 10:00 at the Community Service Center, 430 Prior Street, Gainesville. Topics: Senior Care and Recreation in Gainesville/Hall County.
* Participate in the Delegate Selection Caucus to be held April 19 at Gilmer Co Democrats Headquarters in Ellijay. Make a run to be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention or show up to vote for one of our Hall County Democrats already in the running. * Come to our next Hall County Democratic Committee Meeting April 22 at 6:00pm at St. John's Church Annex on EE Butler.
* Help with our current Media Campaign. Contact Abb Hayes, ash@homlaw.com, if you have an interest in writing a column or appearing on local talk radio.
